Jacksonville Business Journal Honors Forcura At 2014 BizTech Innovation Awards

JACKSONVILLE, FL -- Jacksonville Business Journal recently announced the winners of the 2014 BizTech Innovation Awards and Forcura is proud to have accepted awards in two of the eight categories; CEO of a Technology Company and Best Use of Cloud Computing.

These awards acknowledge businesses and leaders in the Jacksonville, Florida area that are developing, employing, and utilizing technology to grow their business. This year’s recipients have demonstrated significant achievement and innovation within the IT sector.

Craig Mandeville, founder and CEO of Forcura, was awarded the “CEO of a Technology Company” award for establishing Forcura as a major player in the healthcare technology field and having laid a foundation for the company’s continued, rapid, and scalable growth. His recent accomplishments include contracting with Forcura’s three largest clients to date, speaking at several of the most popular home health and hospice conferences in the country, and coordinating an integration of Forcura’s software with the largest EMR provider in post-acute healthcare.

Matt Challberg, an Account Executive at Forcura, graciously accepted the BizTech Innovation award for “Best Use of Cloud Computing”, saying, “At the end of the day, our goal is to be the leader in health care communication.”

As regulations and standards move the industry to electronic medical records and documentation, Forcura has capitalized on virtualizing the communication and transfer of documents between providers. In doing so, Forcura has also enabled several providers to store their patients’ medical records in a virtual, cloud-based patient charts. The secure cloud-based system that Forcura utilizes is secure, HIPAA compliant, and 100% paperless. Forcura’s corporate back office operates with 100% of its tools and services based in the cloud.
