Amedisys Expands Long-Standing Partnership with Forcura

Amedisys Expands Long-Standing Partnership with Forcura

Provider to leverage Forcura's full suite of technology services, including artificial intelligence tools, to deliver enhanced patient care.

Jacksonville, FLA., January 17, 2023 -- Forcura, a healthcare workflow management company, and Amedisys, a leading provider of quality home health, hospice, personal care and high-acuity care, today announced that they have expanded their long-time partnership. As 2023 begins, Amedisys is integrating Forcura’s full suite of technology – including artificial intelligence (AI) for referral management and an e-signature tool, among others – into its operations, which will create efficiencies, empower patient care and advance the provider’s competitive position.

Through their expanded engagement, Amedisys will utilize a variety of new features, such as Forcura’s Referral Automation tool to identify and accept new patient referrals at a faster pace. Additionally, the company’s e-signature platform, Forcura Circle, allows Amedisys’ network of physicians to sign and process orders faster, without the hard costs of printing and faxing documentation.

“Forcura has long served as a trusted vendor and partner for us, supporting our endeavors and growth as we become increasingly driven to digitize and automate our operations to enhance the patient experience,” says Cristi Covington, VP of Business Transformation and Integration. “As we enter 2023, now was the perfect time to invest in additional tools and capabilities that will make us more efficient and compelling to referring physicians and patients.”

Amedisys first engaged Forcura in 2017 through its workflow management platform, which centralizes and digitizes patient documentation through a cloud-based system. Over the years, the two companies have regularly collaborated with one another to advance capabilities as the post-acute market evolves. Additionally, two Amedisys executives – Cristi Covington and Chris Corsetti, Manager of Strategy & Business Transformation – are serving in the inaugural cohort of Forcura’s client advisory board.

“Clients like Amedisys inspire us to solve long-standing challenges around care transitions and ensuring our technology delivers maximum impact and value,” said Annie Erstling, chief operating officer of Forcura. “Collaborating with clients is instrumental to our product development, especially our enhanced Workflow with our proprietary Referral Hub features that we plan to launch later this year. Kicking off 2023 with this great news really sets the momentum for all we plan to deliver.”
